THE CEO of Sex Matters has said she is concerned that the Met Police will still continue to investigate people’s social media or statements that they make.
Speaking on GB News Maya Forstater said: “I think we need to be clear about what [the police] do and don’t say.
“I wasn’t investigated for a non-crime hate incident, I was investigated for what they said was a crime, malicious communication and Graham [Linehan] was arrested for what they said was a crime.
“They’ve never investigated non-crime hate incidents; those are just things that they write down. They write them down to collect patterns of discrimination and hostility, as they define it.
“The idea that they’re not going to investigate them is a bit of smoke and mirrors, because that was never what they investigated. What they investigate is what they think are crimes.

“They will record a crime against your name, particularly if somebody from a protected group or protected strand, such as a transgender person, reports that your social media makes them feel upset or reveals hostility.
“And the problem is that hostility can be as little as saying ‘that’s a man’ when it’s a man.
“It’s good news and I hope that the police do follow that seriously and stop demonising women and men who know what a woman is.”
