FRASERS PROPERTY LAUNCH TWO NEW SHOW APARTMENTS BY MUCHMORE DESIGN AT RIVERSIDE QUARTER

Frasers Property UK have unveiled two new contemporary show apartments dressed by Muchmore Design in the final building, Nine Eastfields, at their flagship scheme Riverside Quarter in Wandsworth.

Nine Eastfields is a 14 storey building and is the final phase of the overall Riverside Quarter scheme which completes the regeneration of the site, once a former Shell oil terminal. The building consists of six one-bedroom apartments, 28 two-bedroom apartments with winter gardens and 45 two-bedroom apartments with private balconies providing views over the River Thames and the River Wandle, a resident’s lap pool and gymnasium alongside commercial space which are now all completed. Prices at Nine Eastfields start from £655,000 with the apartments ready for immediate occupation.

The new show apartments, 504 and 505 at Nine Eastfields, with interior design by Muchmore Design are contemporary, colourful and sophisticated two-bedroom apartments with generous views overlooking the river. The apartments are designed to suit a multitude of buyers reflecting the vast growing community at Riverside Quarter of downsizes, city professionals, first time buyers and affluent investors with carefully balanced, contemporary but smart aesthetics with nods to mid century design and tones.

Apartment 504 and apartment 505 both draw on rich jewel, heritage and natural tones to reflect the current autumnal time of year as seen through the windows in the apartments, to create a feel of cosy homeliness. Wooden and blue accents in the soft furnishings and decorations are placed throughout drawing in the external views of the river – combined with contemporary pieces and eclectic accessories. Clever use of brass, marble and ornamentation all project affluent city living now associated with Wandsworth and neighbouring Battersea.

While both the apartments have two bedrooms, open plan living space and a balcony, they have two very different layouts which required considered space planning, especially in the living areas. For many, there is a necessity for a working from home space so Muchmore incorporated inspiring functional desk areas that didn’t feel crammed or uncomfortable.

Both the show apartments compliment each other but are also be clearly defined. Apartment 504 is a luxurious rich and contemporary design with playful pieces and nods to mid century design. Muchmore wanted to create an inviting and ambient hallway with a calming patterned wallpaper. The entry is more mature with black and marbled furniture piece while the rest of the space is complimented with fun pops of colour within the artwork and accessories. The fluted drinks cabinet, placed just after the entrance, brings a sense of sophistication to the apartment, complimented by colourful artworks to balance the space to be mature, but also eclectic and fun. Following from the entrance hall patterned wallpaper leads as a feature wall to the living area. The space is eclectic bringing in the blue and burnt orange colours that compliment the apartments outside views. Also taking into consideration the work from home setting, the desk is placed in the view of the balcony to create this calm and serene feeling.

The first bedroom features a striking curved headboard in red velvet and patterned fabric paired with Giovanni table lamps and dark wood side tables to create a cosy and timeless design that inspires. The second bedroom is more soft and laid back with a mix of reds and blues. Curved pieces such as the spherical table lamps and side tables inject intrigue and playfulness to the room as does the abstract artwork and colourful furniture pieces, such as the red velvet feature chair.

The balcony is designed as an extension of the living room with colour matching furniture and accessories in two areas, an area to relax and a more social area to eat and drink with a high table and two stools. Plenty of greenery has also been added to make the balcony feel secluded and paired with the greenery in the surrounding areas of the location.

Apartment 505 is a colourful scheme blending contemporary, eclectic and heritage styles with nods to soft scandi-design. The organic materials, shapes and textures softened with the bold colours. As a continuation of the hallway, the living room is colourful yet calming. The different textures from luxury velvets to wood and the dark colours scheme bring warmth contrast and richness to the room. The feature wallpaper in bedroom one sets the tone for the room as a mature and moodier space. The reds coming from the living creates a seamless transition throughout the apartment. The colour scheme in the second bedroom is softer with light blue textured wallpaper and coral washed linen cushions on the bed. The materials used; woven rattan, linen and wood help create a relaxing space. The balcony is playful and colourful, bringing again the red tones from the interiors outside, extending the feel of the living space.

The apartments illustrate the high quality of specification and potential of the homes at Riverside Quarter. Each apartment can be made truly unique to each buyer whilst consistently feeling elegant and luxurious. Residents benefit from all of the existing amenities at Riverside Quarter which include a swimming pool alongside a lap pool and gymnasium at Nine Eastfields. The new building has a 24-hour estate management including concierge and porterage service and video door entry systems.

Linsey Skepper, Founder and Creative Director at Muchmore Design commented: “We designed the show apartments at Riverside Quarter to inspire buyers looking to start a new chapter in their lives. The location just by the river already give the apartments a sense of exclusivity and luxury and we set out to reflect this in the interior design. We created a sense of quality, desirability and authenticity throughout the show apartments whilst ensuring it feels ‘move in ready’. Showcasing the apartments as versatile for different styles of living was also important and we have incorporated this into the various zones created, such as the work from home set up.”

David Skelton, Director of Sales and Marketing at Frasers Property UK, commented: “The new show apartments at Nine Eastfields designed by Muchmore Design reflect the tastes and expectations of buyers we have seen at Riverside Quarter with the luxury furnishings and adaptable space. With completion of the regeneration of the area and the production of a landmark Wandsworth scheme, Frasers Property UK are pleased to be marketing the final apartments through these fantastic show homes and look forward to welcoming potential buyers through the doors to join the already thriving community at Riverside Quarter.”
