EZRA COLLECTIVE – Release “Streets Is Calling” || Extra UK Dates Added this Autumn

EZRA COLLECTIVE, winners of the 2023 Mercury Music Prize Award, are back with new single “Streets Is Calling” featuring M.anifest and Moonchild Sanelly, listen here. “Streets Is Calling” is the third single from their highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Dance, No One’s Watching’ out Sept 27th. Pre-order here.

“Streets Is Calling” brings together the sounds of Highlife, Amapiano and Afrobeats, continuing to lead listeners to the dancefloor, as noted by Femi Koleso:

‘Streets Is Calling’ is about the feeling when people call you up and message you and say, yo, there’s this party happening tonight and that’s all you need. The Streets have called. We’re gonna go straight to this dance floor to make it our own.’

“Streets Is Calling” follows the release of “Ajala” and “God Gave Me Feet For Dancing” featuring Yazmin Lacey. Both singles have seen an outpouring of love from fans, media and peers. “God Gave Me Feet For Dancing” has seen additions across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra marking the first Jazz artist to be playlisted on both stations.

Ezra Collective kicked off their summer with a sold-out performance at the British Library’s Beyond the Bassline exhibition, followed by a show at Central Park’s SummerStage in New York. With a few more festival dates ahead, fans will have the chance to experience the band’s award-winning discography and new material throughout their upcoming tour, which includes an historic night at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on November 15th as they become the first UK Jazz act to headline.
