Endamar Academy Launches to Strengthen UK’s Health and Social Care Workforce with Practical, Accessible Training and Career Development
Endamar Academy, a new specialist training provider dedicated to improving standards and opportunities across the UK’s health and social care sector, has launched today.
The Academy aims to equip individuals entering or advancing within the care sector with qualifications rooted in practical, real-world care delivery. Founded by Casey Jonson, Managing Director of home care provider S&P Care Services, Endamar Academy was born from more than 25 years of frontline experience in health and social care.
“Over the years, we saw a clear need for a training provider that not only meets compliance standards, but genuinely supports the development of competent, confident care professionals,” said Casey.
“One of the core challenges is the inconsistency in training quality, with much of it lacking the lived experience needed to prepare people for the reality of care work. There’s also a shortage of flexible, accessible options that meet learners where they are – particularly for those working full time or returning to the sector after a break.”
With an ageing population and increasing financial pressures, Endamar Academy launches at a time when high-quality, accessible training is more important than ever to meet the sector’s critical need for a resilient care workforce.
In light of recent immigration reforms, clear training and career development pathways will also be key for care providers to demonstrate to UK residents that a viable and attractive career path can be found in social care.
Endamar Academy’s nationally approved and accredited health and social care courses are delivered flexibly through online, in-person, and blended formats to suit different learning styles and schedules. These include Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Adult Social Care, as well as specialist awareness courses designed to build confidence in key areas such as dementia, medication management, and mental health.
Courses offered will soon expand into leadership and management qualifications, CPD modules, and specialist pathways such as end-of-life care and complex needs. Endamar Academy can also partner with care providers to deliver tailored workforce training and digital learning platforms that enhance learner engagement and tracking.
