Acclaimed American singer-songwriter Dean Friedman returns to the UK and Ireland this August for the second leg of his acclaimed 2026 tour, bringing his unique blend of timeless songs, humour and storytelling to audiences across Ireland, Scotland and England.
The tour takes in Dublin, Belfast, Arbroath, Glasgow, Liverpool and two performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before culminating in Dean Friedman’s SongFest (28–30 August) at the Draycote Hotel, Rugby – a unique three-day celebration of songwriting featuring an outstanding line-up of artists including special guest Kiki Dee, alongside Vance Gilbert, Boothby Graffoe, Richard Digance, Fiona Bevan, Charlotte Campbell, Jess Silk, Kal Lavelle and many more.
Best known for classic hits including Lucky Stars, Ariel, Lydia and McDonald’s Girl, Friedman has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning five decades. His songs continue to resonate with audiences across generations, while his live performances have become renowned for their warmth, wit and the captivating stories behind the music.
Far more than a nostalgia tour, Dean’s concerts are intimate evenings of laughter, heartfelt songs and candid reflections from one of America’s finest singer-songwriters. His enduring popularity with UK audiences has seen him return time and again, building a loyal fanbase that continues to grow.
The tour also celebrates the art of songwriting itself, culminating in SongFest, where some of the UK’s and America’s finest contemporary singer-songwriters come together for an unforgettable weekend of music, conversation and collaboration.
