Daniel Craig’s 007 named least promiscuous Bond to date
Daniel Craig’s 007 has been confirmed as the least promiscuous iteration of Bond in the recent franchise instalments, a new interactive guide has revealed.
With the franchise’s newest edition, No Time To Die, marking Craig’s exit from the famous 007 role, OLBG’s Bond Breakdown has delved into the data to throw a weapon’s grade eye on all the numbers behind each Bond actor since 1963.
Craig, who has just appeared in his fifth and final film, has been named as the least promiscuous Bond so far, having only totted up an average of two romantic liaisons per film.
This puts him at the bottom of the romance list, with Sean Connery leading the way with the ladies, having had an average of 3.33 romantic liaisons per film – followed closely behind by George Lazenby and Roger Moore – both scoring an average of 3 flings per film.
While Moore actually had more romantic encounters overall, his total of 21 (in comparison to Connery’s 20) liaisons over seven films makes for an average of three per film.
Daniel Craig’s total number of hook-ups came in at 9, but, over the span of his four films, this makes him a little more tame than his predecessors.
Interestingly, Timothy Dalton was also found to have the same number of liaisons as Daniel Craig – unusual for Bond, especially given the increasing promiscuity and sexualisation of women in cinema on the whole.

But what of Craig’s on-screen love interests? Casino Royale’s Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green, has been named the 4th most loved Bond girl, based on a global Twitter sentiment analysis – perhaps due to 2006’s 007 popping the question.
While Quantum of Solace’s Camille Montes (Olga Kurylenko) and Skyfall’s Severine (Bérénice Marlohe) didn’t make it into the top 10 Bond girls, Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) in Spectre was revealed as 8th most popular online, ahead of her reappearance in No Time To Die.
Despite the lacking romance, Craig however topped the Bond charts having totted up the most guns used (4.25) and fast chases in highest number of vehicles driven (2.5).
Bond is well known for his jet-setting and international lifestyle, and it is no surprise that with the biggest budgets and box office earnings, Craig’s version of the character is the best travelled.
In his four films he has amassed a total of 85,778 miles and visited 35 countries, averaging out to 21,444 miles and 8.75 countries per film.
The study also looked at a range of data behind the Bond films including casino visits, catchphrases and gadgets used, as well as film performance including IMDb ratings and box office takings across the 24 films.
The study was created in celebration of the highly-anticipated release of Daniel Craig’s No Time to Die, which finally hits UK cinemas on 30th September.
