COUPLE ESCAPE LONDON RENTRAL TRAP WITH A NEW BUILD PROPERTY IN HOME TOWN OF MACCLESFIELD

A young professional couple have found their dream home in their home town of Macclesfield at David Wilson Homes’ Galloway Grange development and escaped the rental trap in London.

Matthew Wright (41) and Kane Coxall (22) recently moved back to their home town and into a new build property at the Dixon Drive development with their pug, Percy, after 13 years of living abroad in Paris and renting in London.

Matthew said: “We wanted to be closer to family after living away for so long and renting in London so Galloway Grange was the ideal fit for us.

“We chose this particular area as it’s close to family and Manchester Airport and has great travel links to London and Manchester centre and train links to Alderley Edge and Wilmslow.”

The couple have purchased a four bedroom Bradgate style property, with enough room for working from home and to relax in a garden during lockdown.

Kane said: “We chose this home because it has enough room for a study for work, a large kitchen diner for entertaining, a bedroom for guests and one that we use as a dressing room.

“We also have a detached garage and a large garden which has become a must have due to Covid!”

Galloway Grange is based in the village of Chelford surrounded by old and pretty farmland from its cattle market roots, the development is the perfect place to call home for young couples and growing families.

Matthew said: “The local area is amazing, a typical old English country village with a wonderful old pub, a butchers and a couple of local shops. Everything you need is nearby and it’s easy to get to towns and cities by train, bus or car within minutes.

“Everyone is very friendly on the development and once social distancing has been lifted, we are planning a get together – maybe even a street party.

“Our neighbours have already become great friends and we have already shared quite a few bottles of wine together already!”
