CORONATION Video/Pics/Guests – Irlam MCR Dog Rescue Centre Hosts Coronation
Dogs4Rescue hosted a royal celebration fit for a king today as they crowned King Stuart, the 1st, as the new ruler of the rescue centre.
The self-proclaimed king has been the top dog at Dogs4Rescue for the past three years and now with his coronation, it’s pawficial!
The ceremony took place in the Visitor Park at Dogs4Rescue Irlam, where Stuart was crowned and roared like true Lion King from his throne on the hill.
His regal robe and crown were sourced from the designer marketplace Amazon, and he even borrowed SuperBran’s Superbelt to keep his ensemble in check.
“Dear King Charles, congratulations on your upcoming coronation! Although it may not be as big or exciting as mine, us Kings need to stick together.” said King Stuart, the 1st.
“My advice to you is to not be nervous, have a proud and strong strut down the aisle, and just think about stuffing your face with the cake after the ceremony. Remember to be confident and own that crown! I can’t wait to hear all about it. Woof woof!”
An international audience of dogs from around the world watched the ceremony, showing the power of unity and harmony that can be achieved among Dogs4Rescue furry friends and supporters who tuned in over social channels.
King Stuart’s charming and defiant personality has won the hearts of all those at the centre, especially his fellow rescue dogs who he has helped to make feel more at home.
William Hanson, the UK’s leading etiquette expert and narrator of the Coronation of King Stuart, added – “I’ve been so excited about the coronations of The King and also King Stuart, I extend my warmest congratulations to both of them on their big days.
“Dogs4Rescue has been doing an amazing job of getting people into the spirit, which is exactly what the coronation is all about. I extend my warmest congratulations to both Kings on their big days, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.
King Stuart I is attempting to raise £50,000 on his Coronation Weekend towards the interior fit out of the new dogs’ log cabin at Rescue World, the new second site from Dogs 4 Rescue. An incredible businessdog as well a rescue royalty, Stuart previously crowdfunded £450,000 to buy our new second site, and remarkably has already got his paws on all the materials needed to make the ‘mahoosive’ log cabin watertight. But he really needs your help getting the interior sorted so the first 20 dogs can move in this summer, which will free up life-saving rescue spaces at our Irlam site.
Rescue World is destined to become a one-of-a-kind Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Retreat for the dogs no one wants. Set on the outskirts of Accrington it is 41 acres of idyllic rolling countryside with opportunities as big as our imagination. We are on track with the phase 1 build which includes a large communal dog log cabin and secure 2 acre adventure playground. The rescue world is experiencing an unprecedented crisis and we must do all we can to create more rescue spaces as soon as possible. If anyone could put a commemorative pound or two in Stuart’s bucket it would help us so very much. Thank you.
If you can find a spare pound all donation are gratefully received at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/KingStuartsAppealForTheDogsNooneWants
