Cheapest place to buy a last-minute Christmas jumper
New study reveals the cheapest place to buy your Christmas jumper is Chinese-owned brand Zaful.
The study carried out by beauty experts Cosmetify, examined the top fashion retail brands in the UK to discover the best place to purchase an affordable Christmas jumper using pricing data from each brand’s website.
Zaful was revealed as the cheapest place to buy a Christmas jumper with the lowest price being £7.90. The brand also came up as the third best option regarding the number of Christmas jumpers available on their website with around 44 jumpers to choose from.
The brands in joint second are Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing, both of which are part of the Boohoo Group PLC, with their cheapest Christmas jumper costing £9. Boohoo also ranks second for its jumper selection with 80 Christmas jumpers available to buy on the website. PrettyLittleThing comes in fourth for the highest number of jumper options with 38.
In third place is Shein with its cheapest Christmas jumper priced at £9.49. Despite this, Shein topped the list regarding jumper options with 376 festive jumper choices, 332 jumpers more than cheapest brand Zaful.
The Boohoo Group PLC also hosts eighth place with its subsidiary Nasty Gal. The cheapest Christmas jumper on the website costs £13 however, Nasty Gal’s selection of jumpers is limited with seven options available on their website.
The most expensive brands in the list are Urban Outfitters and Monsoon, with their cheapest Christmas jumpers costing £49. Urban outfitters also has the smallest selection with three jumpers available on their website, while there are eight option from Monsoon.
Commenting on the study, a spokesperson for Cosmetify said: “With the Christmas season well underway, what better way to get into the festive spirit than to get involved in Christmas Jumper Day. The event organised by the charity Save the Children has become a much-loved tradition in the UK to raise money so it’s great to see which brands offer the best deals for people who want to take part this year”.
The research was carried out by Cosmetify, which brings together thousands of brands and hundreds of retails on one platform to ensure a simple shopping experience and allow the consumer to compare the prices of their favourite products at a glance.
