Cantonese restaurant, Chop Chop at the Hippodrome, joins forces with red hot chef and content creator Romany Henry

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Phuket, Romany started Dudu Chilli Oil with her mum as a true labour of love. Their oils are more than condiments – they’re slow-infused, fragrant seasonings inspired by family recipes and Thai herbs, made to elevate every dish. For one night only, Romany’s signature heat will meet Chop Chop’s award-winning Cantonese dishes in a carefully curated three course menu that fuses two food worlds together and turns up the heat.

Start with a trio of traditional, delicate dumplings, followed by a generous a sharing feast of salt and pepper tofu, steamed seabass with ginger and spring onions in soy sauce; silky beef ho-fun noodles; and Chop Chop’s legendary roast duck, hailed by The Financial Times as ‘the best in the world’. Perfect for drizzling or dipping, pair each bite with Dudu’s signature chilli oil – from the sweet and savoury Master Chilli Oil, to the bold and herbaceous Thai Chilli Oil – inspired by the mother-daughter chef duo’s time living in Thailand.

The Chop Chop x Dudu Eats Supper Club starts at 6:30pm. Tickets cost £50 and include three courses, jasmine tea and your own take-home jar of Dudu Chilli Oil. Additional drinks are available for purchase on the night. To book, visit the link here.
