Most of the time, we’re looking for something costing less than £200, whether that’s a phone, a tablet or a printer. But the television stands out as the item where we set our sights considerably higher – most frequently looking for TVs costing up to £1,000.”

Searchers for irons most frequently set the budget at £50, while people hoped they could find a good smartwatch for £200 or less, which was also the amount most often set for camera searches.
