Bringing it home – what the nation is doing to celebrate the Euro 2020 final

England tackle Italy in Sunday’s European Championship final and these are just some of the ways businesses will be marking the big match.

Amen Sharma, managing director at Heart CMS (https://www.heartcms.com/) – “We’re organising a team party. The party will be at home on a projector screen. We’re thanking everyone at work by inviting them to our house to watch the game, drinks and chai will be available, all paid for, and we’re giving the team Monday off (if England win).

“We’ve hired a company called chai cart, several staff members don’t drink alcohol, so we’ve had a specialist Indian tea company set up their cart in our garden to offer free masala tea and biscuits to our staff. ”

Manj Sohal, design & marketing director at The Sardar Co. (https://www.thesardarco.com/) – “We’ve been supporting England (and our customers) throughout the Euros by offering free shipping every time England win a match.

“Each time they win, we extend the promotion until the next game. If England wins on Sunday – we’ll extend the promotion until the end of the month.”

Kristina J V Loudon, founder of Street Theatre UK (https://www.streettheatre.co.uk/) – “We had bookings last night before the game for performances of ‘God Save the Queen’ and now have bookings for Sunday evening as well! Most of them have been booked by men for men surprisingly! We had 12 bookings on the night of the semi-final, they all occurred completely randomly – I wish I could say it was our idea!

“They were in London and Hertfordshire – we are now going to promote it for Sunday. It’s £30 for two songs and the singer goes straight to the house/doorstep/garden/venue or even pub!”
