Brand new petrolhead documentary gets Sky TV green light
A BRAND new automotive documentary being filmed across London has had the green light from commissioners at a Sky TV channel.
Directed and produced by Harry Rutter, ‘Spotting London’s Supercars’ puts the spotlight on some of Britain’s most in-demand car-parazzi.
Car-parazzi is the nickname given to the superkeen supercar spotters heading into the capital to capture the city’s rich and famous in their exotic rides.
The hour-long show, an original Triple Seven production, will air on Sky channel 376 on Spotlight TV shortly after the summer of 2021.
Harry said: “I am so happy that Spotlight TV will be the first home for my first self-produced TV show under my company Triple Seven Management.
“We have worked with the channel before and it seemed only right to work with them again for our original production debut.
“Spotlight TV has a great reputation for bringing on celebrities and online superstars with great hosts such as Hayley Palmer and Louise Gookey.
“Spotting London’s Supercars will carry on that tradition as some big names have already agreed to take part in the show which we’re all excited to make.”
Filming begins shortly after January 2021 after being delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions.
Harry added: “This really is a childhood dream of mine, ever since I was very young I’ve been making short films and digital shows and always hoped to have an original on TV.
“I’ve worked on several television shows under production companies over the years, but this is a first for me to have my own company behind the show.
“I’m very grateful to Phil at Spotlight TV for believing in the show and seeing its potential to bring lots of new excited viewers to the channel next year.”
