BMW Z3 zooms in as the world’s most Googled James Bond car

New research has revealed that the BMW Z3 is the world’s most searched James Bond car.

The study was conducted by online casino hub CasinoScores, which analysed Google search data to see which of the cars that James Bond drives is the most searched globally, finding that the BMW Z3 topped the list with an estimated 150,000 average searches each month.

The famous BMW Z3 made its appearance in the 007 movie ‘GoldenEye’, which was released on 21st November 1995, marking Pierce Brosnan’s first appearance as Bond, and taking the Box Office by storm, making $351.1 million.

In second place is the Aston Martin Vanquish with an average of 109,000 monthly searches. The Vanquish appeared in ‘Die Another Day’, and was nicknamed ‘the vanish’ because it was equipped with an invisibility mode.

The BMW Z8 is the world’s third most-searched Bond car, receiving an approximate 83,000 searches per month. The car featured in ‘The World Is Not Enough’, which took in $361.8 million at the box office with a budget of $135 million.

The Aston Martin DB5, considered by many to be the most iconic Bond car, places fourth in the list, generating 82,000 searches per month. The classic car has featured in multiple Bond films, including ‘Goldfinger’, ‘Thunderball’, ‘Licence to kill’, ‘Skyfall’ and ‘No Time to Die’.
