Jane Kenyon MBE, an award-winning female champion and advocate for women and girls, is set to host her first public event in more than a decade in her hometown of Knutsford this October.
Taking place at Knutsford Methodist Church on Saturday 3rd October, Amplify: Turning Up Women’s Voices, Visibility and Value will bring women and teenage girls together for a day of honest conversation, connection and confidence-building.
The event will explore female empowerment, confidence, identity, visibility and collective action, with a particular focus on the relationship between mothers and daughters. Attendees will have the opportunity to spend time together, apart and then reconnect, creating space to understand each other’s experiences from a different perspective.
The day will combine honest conversations and practical confidence-building tools with music, laughter and opportunities to make new connections. At its heart, Amplify is about encouraging women and girls to embrace who they already are, rather than feeling they need to become someone else.
Jane Kenyon MBE has spent more than three decades championing women and girls. She founded Girls Out Loud in 2010, a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to empowering and inspiring teenage girls to develop confidence, self-belief, emotional resilience and a positive self-image. Through its early intervention programmes, mentoring and advocacy, the organisation has since supported more than 30,000 teenage girls.
Alongside her work through Girls Out Loud, Jane is an award-winning female champion, coach, speaker, entrepreneur, author and social leader who has worked with women and businesses across the UK and internationally, delivering workshops in Dubai, Europe, Qatar, the US and beyond.
Jane was awarded an MBE in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours for her contribution to gender equality and youth empowerment. She is the founder of The Faithful Feminist, a new platform bringing her experience and advocacy for women and girls to a wider audience.
Jane Kenyon said: “Hosting my first public event in more than a decade is a special thing, especially here in Knutsford. I want this to be a day where women and girls can exhale, have honest conversations, laugh, challenge themselves, and leave feeling a little more like themselves, not someone they think they’re supposed to be.
“For mums and daughters in particular, this is an opportunity to step out of the usual dynamic for a while and really see each other. We’re both navigating the same stormy water, but we don’t always understand how the other generation is experiencing it.
“Amplify is about turning the volume up on your voice, your visibility and your values. It’s about being seen, being heard and remembering that you’re not too loud, too emotional or too much. We need sisterhood and collective action, and we need the cross generational conversations.
“That’s what I want Amplify to create: connection, courage, sisterhood, and a lot of fun!”
Amplify: Turning Up Women’s Voices, Visibility and Value will take place on Saturday 3rd October from 9am – 5pm, at Knutsford Methodist Church, Princess Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6BY.
Tickets are priced at £45 for a single adult, £18 for a single teen, or £60 for a mum and teen daughter bundle.
