‘Apple could be the key to saving Manchester United but big money deals aren’t everything’
Apple’s interest in buying Manchester United is great news for the club but money won’t solve all its problems, says peak performance coach Moses Nalocca.
If the technology giant buys Manchester United, it will become the richest football club in the world. But Moses, who works with top athletes and business leaders to help them become more successful, says the deal alone will not be enough to turn around the club’s fortunes.
He says: “Money doesn’t always mean more success – look at Paris St Germain. Manchester United desperately needs a change in leadership and management but if Tim Cook tackles this right, this could be an amazing opportunity.”
He said the deal could have fantastic benefits for both the Apple and Manchester United brands, adding that Apple TV and the company’s virtual reality technology offered exciting possibilities for football fans all over the world.
Moses warned that Apple would not be able to rely on its hefty bank balance alone but would have to spend time bringing in key people who really understand how the football industry works. He can talk about the challenges and benefits he believes an Apple takeover could bring and the steps he thinks Manchester United needs to take to get back on top and rediscover its glory days.
