Manchester football match raises £2000 for homelessness fund

Officers are currently responding to reports that an unexploded tank cartridge had been found in Manchester City Centre. Shortly before 10.55am on Wednesday 24 October 2018, police were called to a building site on Newquay Street. Specialist officers are in attendance and evacuations are likely.

Salford project steers young people onto right road

MA pioneering Salford project is steering young people away from organised crime and helping them build more positive futures. STEER, which is run by Salford Foundation, has worked with 15 young men, aged 12 to 17 in its first year and another 13 are currently
